Vixen & Blush is a specialist hair extensions salon in Fitzrovia, central London, founded by Sarah McKenna in 2011. What began as a single-chair salon has grown into London's go-to salon for tape, micro ring and micro bond extensions — built on one idea that hasn't changed since day one: source genuinely better hair, fit it properly, and keep it affordable by passing the wholesale cost on to the client rather than marking it up.

How Vixen and Blush started
Before opening, Sarah McKenna spent three years travelling and sourcing hair — searching for a quality she couldn't find anywhere in the UK. When she found it, that hair became the only hair Vixen & Blush would ever use, and it still is. That decision is what grew the salon from one chair into what it is today.
Meet the owner
Sarah came to hair extensions from pharmaceutical research, and it shows in how Vixen & Blush works. She spent three years sourcing a hair supply she trusted before opening a one-chair salon in 2011, and still holds every fitting to the same standard: safe, discreet, wearable.

Today, The London Hair Lab provides education and training to leading hair extensions salons across the UK, the USA and Australia — and gives those salons access to the same superior-quality hair that isn't otherwise available on the open market. For clients, it's a simple signal of credibility: the team fitting your hair is the team other professionals are trained by.
