Our stylist Katie created this beautiful transformation using Micro Bond extensions in 18″ she used a custom blend of W15 and 5 to create this dimensional look. Glossy brunette tape extension transformation

You can’t go wrong with dark glossy hair for the Autumn/Winter season and what better way to enhance it then tape extensions! Our senior stylist Hannah used a blend of 1B, C2 and 2 in 22″ tape extensions to create this ultra glossy and voluminous look. We caught up with the team at Vixen and Blush to find out which trends and colours they are recommending for the new season. Brodie our season stylist tell us “I think cowboy copper will still be such a popular trend and will continue into Autumn. It’s such a typical Autumn colour, but I think a darker version will be the next big thing.” She also added “I think you’ll see more bouncy blow drys rather than beachy waves, even though I think a beachy wave is a trend all year round!”

Han W shares her thoughts on seasonal hair trends, saying, “I think that red-heads will be back again, it’s such a gorgeous warm hair colour that I think screams autumn, so it’s not a surprise that copper tones and darkened reds are circling back.” With the rich hues of Autumn all around, it’s no wonder that copper and deep red shades are making a strong comeback. These warm tones not only complement the season but also add a touch of bold elegance to any look, making them the perfect choice for an autumn hair transformation.

Senior stylist Katie shares her insights on evolving hair trends, saying, “I feel like people are loving a flicky layered look, like the butterfly hair, so I think that will keep evolving and returning every so many years. Sarah McKenna is the founder of Vixen & Blush and The London Hair Lab. Sarah graduated as a research biochemist in 2005 and started a career within the pharmaceutical industry, before becoming a hair extensions expert. In 2010, Sarah gained insight into the hair extensions industry and could see that clients had a very poor value/quality proposition. At that time, poor-quality hair extensions were available, at prohibitively high prices. Sarah left her initial career and set out on a mission to improve the hair extensions industry in the UK, using her research and development skills.

Spending 3 years securing a high-quality and sustainable supply of human hair, Sarah then developed new products and fitting techniques to allow long-term refits of the same hair. In this way, Sarah was able to offer hair extensions services at a more affordable price to clients, while improving the quality of the service for her clients.

With Vixen & Blush starting in 2012 as a 1 chair salon in London, Sarah quickly grew the business to what it is today, a team of more than 20 hair professionals working together as London’s leading hair extensions specialists.
