Coachella Hair Extensions

Coachella is, and will always be more about the make-up, the outfits, and most importantly the HAIR

Coachella is, and will always be more about the make-up, the outfits, and most importantly the HAIR – Oh it’s a Music festival? Since when? This is brand new information. Anyways, here’s our Coachella Hair rundown!

BRAIDS are the biggest trend for summer in general, but get especially creative during festival season. Plus side? They’re wearable, keep your hair out of your face whilst you rave on, and the only hair style that improves with messiness. I mean who wants to take a hairbrush to a festival anyway?

Downside? None.
Worn best with? Hair extensions. Nobody wants a skinny plait, thicken it up and go longer with extensions.

SPACE BUNS have made an epic comeback this year. This half up, half down style is perfect for anybody who wants to look quirky cute, but doesn’t want to sacrifice showing off their long locks.

Downside: Getting them symmetrical is trickier than it looks. Grab a friend!
Worn best with? Glitter. Glitter roots/partings can really up your hair game and make you stand out at a festival.

HATS and messy curls are the easiest way to look super on trend at a festival. Long, beachy waves and a fedora are the best way to go.

Downside? You’ll need your style to hold. Hair extensions are brilliant at holding onto heat styling.
Worn best with? Sea salt spray.

Sarah Mckenna
Founder

Sarah McKenna is the founder of Vixen & Blush and The London Hair Lab. Sarah graduated as a research biochemist in 2005 and started a career within the pharmaceutical industry, before becoming a hair extensions expert. In 2010, Sarah gained insight into the hair extensions industry and could see that clients had a very poor value/quality proposition. At that time, poor-quality hair extensions were available, at prohibitively high prices. Sarah left her initial career and set out on a mission to improve the hair extensions industry in the UK, using her research and development skills.

Spending 3 years securing a high-quality and sustainable supply of human hair, Sarah then developed new products and fitting techniques to allow long-term refits of the same hair. In this way, Sarah was able to offer hair extensions services at a more affordable price to clients, while improving the quality of the service for her clients.

With Vixen & Blush starting in 2012 as a 1 chair salon in London, Sarah quickly grew the business to what it is today, a team of more than 20 hair professionals working together as London’s leading hair extensions specialists.
