Longevity

Micro-bonds last 3 months before they need to be removed and new hair fitted.

Comfort

This method is lightweight and comfortable. You may experience a slight tightness during the first couple of days, but this is completely normal and will quickly subside as your extensions settle into place.

Throughout your appointment, your stylist will regularly check in with you to ensure the placement feels comfortable and is tailored to you.

Suitability

Micro bonds are most suited to fine-medium hair types as the bonds are small and virtually undetectable. They also work really well for those with oilier hair, as other methods may slip out or feel less secure.

Micro Rings

Best for: Reusability and no heat or glue

There’s no heat or adhesives used in the application of micro rings; a small metal bead is used to attach the extension strands to your natural hair. The removal process is hassle-free; the rings are opened to release the hair, and no chemicals are needed.

Longevity

Micro ring wear time is around 3 months before it needs to be removed and refitted. If you’re adding a lot of length at your first fitting and take good care of them, the good news is the hair can be reused again and again, so it works out as a cost-effective method,

Comfort

If it’s your first time getting hair extensions fitted, they can take a bit of getting used to over the first couple of days. Our Senior Hair Extension Specialists carefully assess how your natural hair falls and parts, allowing them to place each extension precisely so they are discreet and comfortable.

Suitability

Micro Ring Hair Extensions are suitable for most hair types. If you have normal to thick hair density at the root, this method provides a secure, natural-looking result and is an excellent choice.

For those with finer hair, the Micro Ring method may not provide the best blend or support. During your consultation, we’ll assess your hair and can provide test pieces of alternative extension methods in the salon to help you find the most suitable option for your hair type.

Tapes

Best for: Quick transformations and sleek results

Tape Hair Extensions are applied in discreet, sandwich-like pairs, with a thin section of your natural hair securely placed between each tape. At your refit appointment, the extensions are gently removed with a professional removal solution, then fitted with fresh adhesive tabs, ready to be reapplied. This allows your tape extensions to be reused, making them both a beautiful and cost-effective option.

Longevity

Tapes need to be removed and refitted after about 6-8 weeks. As your natural hair grows, the extensions will gradually grow down as well. The same hair can often be reused multiple times with good maintenance. We have clients who have used the same set of tape extensions for over a year.

Clip-Ins

Best for: Instant, visible results and zero commitment, zero hassle.

Clip-ins are the ultimate temporary option. You can apply and remove them yourself in minutes, making them perfect for events or changing your look whenever you like.

Longevity

When properly cared for, a set of clip-ins can last you for years, maintaining their quality and softness. By gently brushing them, washing them with suitable products, storing them correctly, and avoiding excessive heat styling, you can ensure they are a worthwhile, long-lasting investment. However, clip-ins should be worn only for special occasions and are not for everyday use. Wearing them too much can cause the clips to pull at your roots and put your own hair health at risk.

Comfort

When fitted properly, clip-ins are incredibly comfortable to wear. Our clips are designed to sit flat against your scalp without digging in or pulling, distributing the weight evenly across your head. They blend seamlessly with your natural hair and move naturally. You shouldn’t feel tightness, pinching, or heaviness.

Suitability

Clip-ins work for all hair types, especially if you want flexibility without a salon commitment. However, if you have very fine or fragile hair, you need to be more careful.

FeatherLight

Best for: Flawlessly undetectable results for those who aren’t suited to other methods.

Our newest hair extension offering is FeatherLight and FeatherLight Ultra, a service for those who are unable to have other hair extension methods. During this service, we use 2-3 methods: single-sided tapes, BabyBonds and V-Light. Our stylists carefully design a bespoke treatment plan, selecting the ideal amount of hair and the most effective methods to deliver a flawless, tailored match. We take photos at each appointment to closely monitor your natural hair health.

Longevity

Depending on whether you get FeatherLight or FeatherLight Ultra, your extensions’ wear time is affected. FeatherLight maintenance appointments should be scheduled every 8 weeks, whereas FeatherLight Ultra maintenance appointments should be scheduled every 5-7 weeks.

Comfort

For maximum comfort, we use ultra-light, single-sided tapes, half the size of regular tapes, to add natural volume. Around the front and sides, BabyBonds provide a smaller, more delicate option for a soft, seamless blend. If you have concerns such as a receding hairline, thinning sides, or a visible scalp, our V-Light method can be used to subtly build density for a natural-looking result. Additionally, as part of your plan, your stylist will talk you through the options to find what feels most comfortable and looks most natural for you, with plenty of room to tweak and refine the results.

Suitability

This service is designed for those with naturally fine or fragile hair where traditional extension methods aren’t the right fit. It’s also an ideal solution for clients experiencing thinning due to factors such as pregnancy, medication, stress, menopause, nutritional deficiencies, or thyroid conditions. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we focus on gentle, targeted enhancement, perfect for those looking to add subtle density through delicate areas like the crown, temples, or hairline, while maintaining a soft, natural finish.
