Whether you are looking for a semi-permanent or permanent method, we offer four different options in the salon: Micro Rings, Micro Bonds, Tape-In Extensions, and Clip-In Extensions.

All of our appointments start with a free consultation. We offer complimentary consultations from our central London salon or via Face-Time.

Micro Rings

The Micro Ring method is very popular at Vixen and Blush because it’s reusable and very safe. No glue is used to fit the hair extensions, and both the fitting and removal processes are very straightforward, comfortable and simple. Micro Ring hair extensions have a 3-month wear time, and the refit is half the original price. You can refit the hair many times depending on your chosen amount and length. Our Micro Ring method is applied with a small copper ring. We require clients to have a test piece fitted if you have a known metal allergy and wear it for a minimum of one week prior to your appointment.

Micro Bonds

Micro bonds are a permanent method that lasts for three months. The fitting and removal are comfortable and very simple. This method is discreet and comfortable and is really useful for those with finer hair and for those who would like to add hair in more prominent areas, like the fringe. This method does not allow hair to be reused, so new hair is needed each time. We love this versatile method – as we can make tiny bonds where needed and offer something more for clients who need a really discreet method of adding hair.

Tape Extensions

Tape extensions are a semi-permanent method which is reusable and cost effective! You have full control over the amount of hair that is used and therefore can control your budget very easily. When it comes to refits we advise coming in every 6-8 weeks. We often get asked how many refits are possible, and the truth is as many as we can possibly get you! You can wear the hair over and over for many years, but any colour or style change you do does mean that you will need new hair. If you are unsure then you can talk to us at your consultation.

Clip In Extensions

Want to be able to change up your look in an instant? Say goodbye to bad hair days and hello to endless styling possibilities with Vixen and Blush clips! Do you want to achieve that salon-worthy look without compromising on quality? You’ve come to the right place! Add enviable volume and length with the finest quality extensions. Our Clip-In hair extensions are made with the same quality hair from The London Hair Lab that we use for all of our permanent methods in the salon. The benefit of using this exceptional-quality hair is that, with the correct care and maintenance, your clip-in will last for many years. Clip-in hair extensions are incredibly easy to apply and all fuss. Enhance your natural locks and create voluminous styles that last.

Our clip-ins come as a complete set. You will receive one 5-clip piece, one 4-clip piece and two side pieces.

Sarah Mckenna

Sarah McKenna is the founder of Vixen & Blush and The London Hair Lab. Sarah graduated as a research biochemist in 2005 and started a career within the pharmaceutical industry, before becoming a hair extensions expert. In 2010, Sarah gained insight into the hair extensions industry and could see that clients had a very poor value/quality proposition. At that time, poor-quality hair extensions were available, at prohibitively high prices. Sarah left her initial career and set out on a mission to improve the hair extensions industry in the UK, using her research and development skills.

Spending 3 years securing a high-quality and sustainable supply of human hair, Sarah then developed new products and fitting techniques to allow long-term refits of the same hair. In this way, Sarah was able to offer hair extensions services at a more affordable price to clients, while improving the quality of the service for her clients.

With Vixen & Blush starting in 2012 as a 1 chair salon in London, Sarah quickly grew the business to what it is today, a team of more than 20 hair professionals working together as London’s leading hair extensions specialists.
