Making good quality hair extensions affordable without compromising the quality of the hair, the fitting and the expertise is a balance we have aimed to achieve!
We are a hair extension specialist salon. Getting good quality hair extensions fitted by a trained professional can be costly but depending on your budget you can tailor the service you go for. Prices are transparent and there are no hidden costs such as the cost of styling or cutting so no surprises at the end of your appointment. You can view our full price list online via our website or pick up a price list in the salon.
Each method is priced differently, with longer lengths being more expensive. The longer you go the more hair you will need to get you there, so if you are looking for a big transformation then it will be more expensive than if you wanted to add just volume to your natural hair.
For our reusable methods such as tapes and micro rings we charge refits at a reduced price. We encourage clients to refit their hair as many times as they like, and with such great hair quality it will last for many refits. This means although the initial cost may be high, you can reuse your hair till you are ready to buy new! You can see the cost of the refit on our price list.
We offer Klarna in the salon to spread the cost over three months, which can be set up before your appointment or on the day. Enquire about using Klarna when you book in for your appointment. Klarna is interest free and allows you to spread the cost of your extensions over three months, the same wear time as our more permanent methods Micro Ring and Micro Bonds.
Every appointment starts with a free consultation, these can be booked online or via Face-Time! This gives our talented team of stylists a chance to have a look at your hair and talk you through the methods we have on offer that would be suited to your hair type. You can also ask any questions you might have about the different methods and maintenance of hair extensions. If you come into our central London salon for your free consultation we can fit a test piece for you, free of charge! This allows you to test having the extensions in for a few weeks to decide which method you feel is best for you.
Sarah McKenna is the founder of Vixen & Blush and The London Hair Lab. Sarah graduated as a research biochemist in 2005 and started a career within the pharmaceutical industry, before becoming a hair extensions expert. In 2010, Sarah gained insight into the hair extensions industry and could see that clients had a very poor value/quality proposition. At that time, poor-quality hair extensions were available, at prohibitively high prices. Sarah left her initial career and set out on a mission to improve the hair extensions industry in the UK, using her research and development skills.
Spending 3 years securing a high-quality and sustainable supply of human hair, Sarah then developed new products and fitting techniques to allow long-term refits of the same hair. In this way, Sarah was able to offer hair extensions services at a more affordable price to clients, while improving the quality of the service for her clients.
With Vixen & Blush starting in 2012 as a 1 chair salon in London, Sarah quickly grew the business to what it is today, a team of more than 20 hair professionals working together as London’s leading hair extensions specialists.
