Our hair will last forever - in terms of its condition.  The hair is in perfect condition at the first fitting, and for each refit thereafter.  When a client decides to have new hair, it is not because the hair itself has gone dry or is less glossy.  The main reason why clients choose to have new hair is because their own hair changes over time.  This can be in colour, or their own hair has grown longer and has caught up wtih the extension hair.

When you have hair fitted, it grows out with your own hair.  When you then have it refitted, it is shifted up to the root again, but your own hair is longer than it was before.

Additionally, your own hair changes colour over time.  Sometimes due to seasonal changes, or because the root area is not dyed as often and the underneath part becomes darker over time.

Eventually, new hair is needed to ensure the colour match is exact and the desired goal in terms of length is on point too.

Most clients who add a lot of length to begin with are able to refit the same hair for a year.  For clients who don't add much length to begin with, it is less time.

There are many factors… 1) your past experiences 2) how long your own hair is now 3) how full a look you want to achieve 4) your lifestyle considerations / commitment level 5) cost 6) do you want to add length, or just volume? We can help you decide, and even if you select a particular service, you can always change your mind during the fitting process.

We work as a team and are all trained to the same expert level of skill.  Vixen & Blush has exacting standards in hair extensions and each stylist must conform to these standards.

Vixen & Blush is a certified training centre for all hair extensions methods.

No, not at all.  Not all clients consistently refit the hair..  Some of our regular clients like to have some time off from wearing their extensions.  This is most often due to lifestyle reasons but can also be to reduce the expense of having hair extensions all year round.

We can package your hair with labels (so we know what goes where on your head) and you can have that same hair fitted at a future date (no commitment).

The only factor to take into account is that if you decide to change your hair colour, or had a dramatic haircut, then it may not be possible to create the same look as you had before using the same hair, and we not fit it for you (because the result would be so compromised).

If you waited a year or more, your own hair colour may change quite a lot, even without undergoing a colour service or it can grow out and then be longer than the hair extensions.

We can of course offer a free consultation to go over things in detail and we will always try our very best to re-use hair if we possibly can (if you have had it out for a long time).

Yes, of course! Vixen & Blush is a professional Hair Extensions salon. We have a large inventory of hair in stock and can fit your hair extensions then and there. However, if you would like to have a consultation and fitting on the same day, we would ask for a quick video call to assess your suitability ahead of that appointment, and we also do take a £100 deposit.  This is refundable if you come for the fitting, but decide not to go ahead (for any reason).

But it is forfeited if you do not show up to the appointment.

We do not refit hair that you had fitted in another salon but we can offer a free refit if you are planning on having a new set fitted at Vixen & Blush.

We can also offer clients a one-off removal of hair they had fitted elsewhere and now offer great hair treatments like Olaplex or Nanokeratin blowdries to care for your own hair after the removal.
